Construction 2 – Dog House Progress

Construction+2+-+Dog+House+Progress

Ed Marynowski, Construction Teacher

Just think at the beginning of the semester learning how to take a measurement, hammer a nail, and use a saw were all new skills.  Now students are applying those skills to our new project.  All of these students have really progressed over the months. They are building dog houses for this semester’s to help support their construction program by selling them to the public. All proceeds go towards purchasing materials for future projects. The goal being that it will become more of a self-supporting program. Thus allowing students to work on larger projects, which in turn allow students to develop more skill sets in the construction industry.
